eg: You should work the butter into the dough carefully.

第二个短语：
put the word out
应该如何理解呢？
to tell people a new piece of news
告诉人们一则新消息；
在英式英语中，人们也经常说put the word around/round/about；
其实前面的动词用get也可以，都是近义表达；
eg: So, the new manager has been appointed - should we put the word out?
所以，已经任命新经理了，我们需要把这个消息通知出去吗？
eg: The police put/got the word out that they were looking for him.
