Hi everyone and welcome to 英语开眼界
Today, we’re going to look at the expression “that’ll do” (= that will do)
That’ll do 就是：可以了，够了，的意思
For example
A: Could I get a cup of hot water please?
我可以要一杯热水吗?
B: Sorry we only have warm water, is that ok?
不好意思我们只有温水，可以吗？
A: Yes, that will do.
可以
Another example:
A: Can you bring me a torch?
你可以给我拿个电筒吗?
B: I don’t have one, I just have my phone.
我没有，只有我的手机
A: That’ll do.
可以啦
