人生是艰难的，但是你是坚强的
但是其实这样翻译看不出这句话的深度，因为在英文里 tough 有两个意思。一个是艰难，一个是坚强. 就是和difficult 和 strong 是同义词，但是比较 informal 非正式。
所以想真正理解这句话的意思不能把它完全翻译过来：
人生是tough的，但是你也是。
