Chan’s Oscar honor 成龙获得奥斯卡终身成就奖。 It’s about time! Chinese actor Jackie Chan, 62, has worked in the film industry for 56 years. And he is in more than 200 movies. On Nov 12, Chan received an honorary Oscar (奥斯卡终身成就奖) at the 8th Annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles, US. He is the first Chinese to receive the honor. The award is to recognize achievements across an artist’s whole works. Chan won it for his excellence (优秀) in martial arts (武术) films and action comedies. “Standing here is a dream. After breaking so many bones, finally this is mine,” Chan said when accepting the award. He expressed his sincere thanks to Hong Kong and Hollywood, as well as his pride as a Chinese and his love for China.
