thankful (adj.)
be thankful for something
e.g. “I am thankful for what you have done for me.” 谢谢你为我做的一切
thankful that
e.g. I’m thankful that I’ve got a job. 我很庆幸自己有份工作。
appreciate (v.)
appreciate + n. (something)
e.g. I appreciate the pay raise. 我对加薪这件事情，非常感激。／The boss appreciates Ryan’s effort. 老板很感谢Ryan的付出。
appreciate + V-ing
