This student did a good job reading, but had a few errors in her pronunciation. For example, /th/ seemed to be an especially difficult sound for her; she tended to pronounce this sound as an/s/ (as can be seen in #s 1, 2, 8, 13). Also, /r/ and /l/ were difficult sounds that sometimes were not produced very clearly (#s, 4, 6, 11, 14). She occasionally would put the stress on the wrong part of the word (#s 7, 12) and finally, lax vowels such as /ih/, /eh/, and /ə/ were mispronounced. Because she is consistent with her errors, these will be easy to improve with training.
