When the dog hears a train coming, he lies down next to his friend, pushes her head down and keeps them both very still as the train passes.
For two days he stayed with her on the tracks, and for two days he kept her alive, after which a train conductor alerted the locals.
However, the protective dog didn't let them come close, making the rescue tricky. But when an animal shelter arrives, they successfully manage to rescue both dogs. And it didn't take long for these two sweethearts to be adopted into a loving forever home.
Today they're named Panda and Lucy. During the two days they spent on the train tracks, Panda showed what a true friend really is. He hept her warm for two days under the constant threat of danger! I don't know what to call it: instinct, love, friendship, attachment. I only know this: not every human is capapble of this. We should all learn from it.
