A company in Armenia has developed a smart wallet, which takes security to the extreme.
The Volterman Smart Wallet isn’t an average wallet. Apart from the screen, it packs about as much technology as your smartphone. It may look like a simple leather wallet on the outside, but it’s a whole different beast on the inside.
Once you have paired the smart wallet with your phone, its alarm system will work both ways. The global GPS tracker allows you to locate the wallet anywhere in the world. Your credit cards, passport and driver license now come with radio frequency identification chips that thieves can clone, but the smart wallet prevents that.
The smart wallet also comes with a built-in power bank, which provides wireless charging on the go, and a built-in Wi-fi Hotspot providing Internet roaming service in 98 countries.
Perhaps the most unusual thing is the built-in front-facing camera. If someone dares to open your wallet without your knowledge, the little camera will take a picture and send it to your phone. Once your wallet is stolen, you will find it easily by receiving the picture of the thief.
