介绍:
Is My Chair Getting Smaller? Roo wakes up early one morning. He puts on his favorite shirt. But something is different. His shirt is too small. "Is my shirt getting smaller?" Roo wonders. At breakfast, Roo sits in his chair. His feet almost touch the floor. Roo eats all his food. But he is still hungry. "Oh, no!" he thinks. "Are my chair and bowl getting smaller, too?" "Mama," Roo says. "Everything in our house is getting smaller! My shirt is smaller. So are my chair and my bowl." Kanga smiles. "I wonder why," she says. Suddenly, Tigger jumps through the door. "Tigger!" says Roo. "Our house is getting smaller! Is everything in the Wood getting smaller?" "Let's go look," says Tigger. Roo jumps across the Sandy Pit. Usually it takes five jumps. But today it only takes three. "The Sandy Pit is getting smaller, too!" says Roo. "Let's go tell Owl!" says Tigger. Tigger and Roo climb up to Owl's door. But Owl isn't home. Roo climbs down the tree by himself. He doesn't need any help this time. "Owl's tree is getting smaller, too!" he says. Tigger sees Owl nearly. He is teaching baby birds to fly. "Owl!" calls Roo. "We have something to tell you." Owl flies down to his friends. "Okay," Owl says. "What do you want to tell me?" "Everything in the Wood is getting smaller!" Roo says. "Oh, dear," Owl says. "Let's visit Winnie the Pooh," Tigger says. "Maybe he's getting smaller, too." But Winnie isn't home. Roo looks in the window. Usually he is too short to reach it. "Winnie's house is getting smaller, too!" he says. Winnie and Piglet walk up. "Hello," Winnie says. "Are you looking for me?" "Everything is getting smaller!" says Roo. "My shirt and my chair are smaller. Even the Sandy Pit is smaller." "Oh, dear," says Winnie. "Let's look around and see what else is smaller." The friends go to the pond. They see baby ducks with their mother. "Hello, baby ducks," Tigger says. "When you grow up, we can swim together." Owl watches the baby ducks. He gets an idea. "Let's visit the Climbing Tree," he says. Roo lifts up his arms. He grabs the lowest branch on the tree. Then he swings from it. Everybody is surprised and happy. "What is it?" Roo asks. "Roo," says Owl. "You can reach the tree branch now. The Wood isn't getting smaller. You're getting bigger!" "Hooray for me!" says Roo. And everybody laughs.
