MY HOMETOWN My hometown is YuHang. It is famous for its silk and culture. Many outstanding people are from here. But I think the most interesting and famous culture is Jingshan tea. Jingshan tea has a long history with thousand years from Tang Dynasty. Jingshan is the birthplace of Japan tea-culture and ceremony. Long long ago, there is no tea in Japan, Japanese didn't know how to drink tea and tea-tasting. It's recorded, a monk from Jingshan temple took the tea to Japan when he crossed over to Japan and taught them how to drink and enjoy tea. Japanese accepted it and loved tea day by day. Every spring, Jingshan tea meet with tea-lovers and show his taste. I'm not a tea drinker, but my dad is. He has an own tea room for drinking and resting.
