First up, South China city offers 15-year free education program for disabled children.
Zhongshan city of south China's Guangdong province has announced it would provide all the city's disabled children with 15 years of free education.
Starting March 1, children with disabilities in Zhongshan City are entitled to three years pre-school education in addition to 12 years of formal education, from elementary to high school.
The initiative is part of Zhongshan City's 2014-2020 program to improve education for the physically-challenged. The project was jointly carried out by eight city departments including the education, sports, development and reform bureaus.
Second, let's shift our focus to the US. President Obama proposes free community college.
President Obama has recently introduced a plan for a new programme to provide students with two years of free community college education. He unveiled his plans in Tennessee.

This programme is available to students provided they maintain their grades. Students have to keep up a t least a 2.5 gpa (or grade point average) and apply to community colleges that offer occupational training in high demand fields.
This's a public funded programme and funding for this would just cover two years of either full time and part time study.
The state of Tennessee is ready to commit to a similar programme called Tennessee promise, which covers tuition for students applying to community or tech colleges. Tennessee governor Bill Haslam discussed this a few months ago.
That was governor Halsam talking about the Tennessee promise. As he mentioned almost 90% of high school seniors have applied to the Tennessee Promise programme which is set to go underway for the class of 2015.
