Distant Hills Calling

From faraway there is
A beautiful field of maples When the maples turn red
I decorate the whole autumn
With my verses
A long bench Covered with sorrow and resentment
I search for memories of the previous life
But accidentally fall in Your bustling story And the vast earthly world
I heard you tell
One thousand and one stories And put myself Onto the title page
Write down the day When we got to know
And at that time
The maples were flourishing
But through the long path
I could not see
The brown stone slab
In my memory Until seeing a familiar figure
In the pavilion
I imagined that person Maybe was my past And yet maybe Was what you were
The old house has been For long years out of repair Through the gap on top of my head
A bundle of dazzling halo Could be recognized
Birds are singsing
And echoing one after another
As before the setting sun is Casting the shadow of the trees
On your smiling face Come to enjoy
The call from the distant hills
With the valley echo
It blows to the everlasting Longing of you and me
