Award winning actor Philip Seymour Hoffman① who was found dead last week reportedly had one more major scene② to shoot for the upcoming Hunger Games film. The 46-year old Hoffman played Plutarch Heavensbee in the series and reportedly had one more highly emotional scene to shoot. When asked about how they were going to resolve this issue a spokesperson for the film suggested digital imagery and focusing on other characters in the scene Movie magic. Hoffman was a celebrated and respected actor known for his Oscar performance in Capote as well as the cerebral Synecdoche New York and darkly humorous Boogie Nights.
