介绍:
Just how serious is the situation regarding the H7N9 virus in China? Last week alone there were at least five newly-infected human H7N9 cases coming from four provinces here in China. There was much concern prior to the Lunar New Year holiday when millions upon millions of Chinese people moved across the country to go home--many to the countryside and at risk from coming into contact with live poultry. It's probably too early to tell what impact on the virus the Lunar New Year movement has had but should we be concerned? Has the Chinese government done enough to deal with this or, at least, assuage public worries? Are we being kept informed of all the developments and what scenarios could pan out with the H7N9 virus in the near future?
