英国每日邮报:研究显示,英国人一旦减肥成功,就会失去一两个朋友。
Daily Mail reports that new research has revealed that the average Briton loses two friends for every stone of weight dropped during a diet, with 'jealousy' cited as the main reason for the distance between friends.
The study polled 2,547 Brits, all were aged 18 or over and had been on a diet over the last 18 months which resulted in a weight loss of one stone or more.
The survey began by asking respondents how much weight they had lost and if they felt their weight loss had made an impact on their life, to which 92 per cent confirmed it had made a 'significant positive impact'.
