Etymology: horses were jumpy, thoroughbreds, goats are companion animals, horse racing cut throat business, horse owners would keep goat in the pen, and if u wanted to sabotage that horse for the race, u would steal the goat in order to freak the goat out, perform less well. spectators would say "someone goat his goat"
2) Dyed in the wool
-Alfred is a dyed-in-the-wool gun rights activists, and walks around the town with a hunting rifle to prove it.
