On a cold and rainy Saturday morning, Fox, Pig and Hound sat around the table, thinking about what they would do that day.
"Let&`&s make breakfast" Said Fox.
"But I don&`&t know how!" Said Hound "I am not very good at anything, I can&`&t even cook!"
Hound was very sad, he believed his friends were so much more talented than he was, and was worried that he could not help make breakfast with them.
"Don&`&t be silly!" laughed Pig "we can make it together, three is the perfect number for making pancakes!"
Fox smiled as he took all of the ingredients from the pantry, "Hound, would you want to eat this egg just like this?"
"No!" shouted Hound, "That doesn&`&t taste nice!"
"What about this flower?"
"No way, its too dry!"
"And this cream?"
"No!" cried Hound "I can&`&t eat all of these foods like this!"
As Pig mixed the ingredients, and showed Hound how to pour them into the pan, Fox flipped the pancakes onto a plate for breakfast.
Fox, Pig, and Hound sat down together at the table, "this is delicious", said Hound.
"You see," said Fox "even though each one of the ingredients are not good alone, when they are together, they make something wonderful."
"Just like us?" asked Hound.
"Just like us", said Pig, "even though we might not be good at making something on our own, if we all work together, we can make something wonderful too."
Fox, Pig, and Hound all smiled as filled their bellies with their delicious pancakes, the sun was coming through the rain clouds, and Hound knew was going to be a perfect day.
