美剧术语扫盲1
1. ad-lib：words，actions improvised during performance;即兴说出的台词，即兴完成的动作。
eg: Michael came up with a hilarious ad-lib in this scene. 这一幕里，Michael对台词做了些非常搞笑的即兴发挥。
2. audience reaction：Generally sitcom scenes are performed in front of the audience and the performers must deliver their performance in concert with the audience’s reaction—in which laughter is the key. （情景喜剧）现场观众反应——笑声。
eg: The driving scene shot sometime earlier was reenacted to get audience reaction.
早先拍好的一场开车的戏，被拿到现场来重演，以获取观众的反应。
3. bit part actor：actors that play minor parts. 小配角。
eg: I’m not really into this act but the bit part actors they had in here were very funny.
我不太喜欢这场戏，但是其中一些小角色的表演倒是很滑稽。
4. clip show：a show that puts together many clips from different episodes. 精彩片段集锦。
eg: They started by showing a clip show of the last season. Well put together—I was laughing so much my sister said to me: “Every word isn’t funny!”
他们先放映了上一季的精彩片段集锦，编排得很精彩，把我乐得前仰后合，我姐说： 也不是每个词都这么好笑吧！
5. crossover: used to describe a character of one series visiting another series. 客串。
eg: Kramer from Seinfeld did a crossover in one of the Mad about you episodes.
扮演Seinfeld 剧中Kramer一角的演员在Mad about You （为你疯狂）里面客串。
