Different Roast Every Day 每天的烤肉都不同
Jack puts on his thick coat and leaves home for his winter holiday. He takes a boat to a small island and wants to stay there for two weeks. But four days later, he is back home. His mother asks why. 杰克穿上厚外套，离家度寒假去了。他乘船来到了一个小岛上，想在那里住上两个星期。但是，四天以后，他就回家了，妈妈问他为什么。
“On the first day, a goat died, and we had roast mutton for dinner, ”Jack says, “On the second day, a cow died, and we had roast beef for dinner. On the third day, a pig died, and we had roast pork for dinner.”“第一天，一只山羊死了，我们晚餐吃烤羊肉。”杰克说，“第二天，一头奶牛死了，我们晚餐吃烤牛肉，第三天，一只猪死了，我们晚餐吃烤猪肉。”
“Very good. A different roast every day.”his mother says.“很好啊,每天都有不一样的烤肉.”他妈妈说。
“On the fourth day, a farmer died, and we didn’t dare to stay for dinner,”Jack says. “第四天，一个农夫死了，我们就不敢留下来吃晚饭了。” 杰克说。
