Avril Lavigne is a French and Canadian singer,songwriter. She was born in Belleville,Ontario, and spent most of her youth in the town of Napanee. By the age of 15, she had appeared onstage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a twoalbum recording contract with Arista Records worth more than 2 million dollars. In 2002, when she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album Let Go. Since her professional debut, she has become one of the most successful artists in the world, selling more than 30 million albums and over 50 million singles worldwide.In 2006, Canadian Business Magazine ranked her the seventh most powerful Canadian in Hollywood.Avril is a rare set of singing writing, performing was passionate and dynamic and full of depth. Avril s debut album,Let Go,was released in 2002, and over 16 millioncopies were sold worldwide. She has issued four albums, she recently released her fifth album whose titlesong is Here's To Never Growing Up. Avril created many famous songs,such as Complicated , " innocence" , 'My Happy Ending", "Girlfriend" and so on. She is a women leading the popculture, an explosive full of soul,a true wild girl. She is the kind of nice sitting in the classroom can not, but full of confidence and determination, and a man went to New York and LosAngeles to hone creative skills of a uptown gril.
