把两只脚都抬起来/跷起来，平放
to sit down and relax, especially with your feet raised and supported
把两条腿抬起来，坐下休息（一般腿是有支撑的）
eg: After a hard day's work, it's nice to get home and put your feet up.
一天的疲惫工作之后，回到家抬抬脚歇歇真的很惬意。
eg: You should go home and put your feet up.
除了字面意思的理解之外，也可以直接说：你应该回家，好好休息一下了。
其实并不一定就是跷二郎腿，跷二郎腿可以说cross one’s legs
比如说：Don’t cross your legs.
别跷二郎腿。
因为很多正式场合中，跷二郎腿很不礼貌。
eg: She sat down and crossed her legs.
她坐下了，跷起了二郎腿。
那put one’s feet up很好理解，就是字面的意思，把脚抬起来
那如果是：
put one’s foot down
注意这里是单数，是什么意思呢？把脚放下去？
