The Earth Day 世界地球日
April 22nd is the Earth Day. Our school organized a lot of activities to improve our environment. 四月二十二日是世界地球日，我们学校组织了许多活动来改善我们的环境。
In the morning some of us planted trees. Some picked up rubbish in the neighborhood or parks.在上午，一些学生去种树；一些学生去附近的公园捡垃圾；(neighborhood 居住区)
Most of us also gave money to organizations that help to save forests and endangered animals. 我们大多数人都给帮助保护森林和濒临灭绝动物的组织捐献了钱；
Several groups of the students went to the streets, telling the passersby how seriously our earth is damaged. 好几组学生还到大街上，向过往的行人宣传我们的地球现在已经被破坏得多么严重，
Many rain forests are disappearing. A lot of wild animals are killed.
其中，热带雨林正在锐减，许多动物正在被杀害。
By doing all these we would like everybody to know that we have only one earth and we should protect it. 通过做这些活动，我们是想让每一个人都知道：我们只有一个地球，我们应该保护它。
Saving the earth is saving ourselves! 保护我们的地球就是保护我们自己！
