Task 5
The woman is waiting for her friend Amy and they are about to drive to the town and watch a movie their professor wants them to watch. They should have left 15 minutes ago, but Amy hasn’t shown up. She called her several time, and also left voice messages, but Amy just didn’t answer any of them. There are two solutions for this problem. First, the woman can go by herself, and leave a voicemail for Amy, explaining all these stuff. And Amy can go see the movie tomorrow. Second, the woman can wait for ten more minutes, because Amy told her there were a lot to do before coming, and Amy may already on her way. Personally, I agree with the first solution. Because Amy has already late for 15 minutes without calling her or answer her phone calls. And if she kept waiting, they would miss the beginning of this movie, which is bad for their discussion later in class. Also Amy can see it tomorrow, but the woman can’t, because she will be busy tomorrow. So there is almost no harm for Amy if she leaves now.
