Larry： Did you hear how cold it got last night?

Shirley： I heard the radio announcer say it was 18 degrees below zero.

Larry： It was so cold this morning. I could hardly start my car.
拉里： 今天早上可真冷。我的车几乎都发动不起来了。
Shirley： My car didn’t want to start, either 3, at first.
雪莉： 我的车最开始也发动不起来。
Larry：Don’t you have a garage 4?
拉里：你不是有车库吗？
Shirley： Not in the new apartment. We have to leave the car in the parking lot.
雪莉： 新房子没车库。我们只好把车放在停车场。
Larry： How much antifreeze 5 did you put in your car then? You must have to keep it well below zero.
拉里： 那你在车里加了多少防冻液？你一定得让车在零度以下也正常运转。
Shirley： I do. Right now I have it protected up to 30 below zero.
雪莉： 是的，现在我的车在零下30度也没问题。
Larry： Does it ever get that cold on here?
拉里：这里有过那么冷吗？
Shirley： Not really. It sometimes gets to 20 below.

Larry： Speaking of cold, how about going for a cup of coffee to warm up?
