Brian walked into work and saw his coworker looking particularly sour.
Brian走进办公室，看见一位同事愁眉苦脸的样子。
"Hey what's wrong buddy?"
“嘿，你怎么了？”
His friend looked up with a forlorn expression on his face. "You remember last month how my Grandmother's sister passed on and left me $2,000?"
他的朋友抬头看了他，一脸绝望。“你还记得上个月我奶奶的姐姐去世了，然后留给了我2000美元吗？”
"Yes," said Brian nodding his head.
“记得" Brian点了点头。”
"And you remember how the month before that her brother passed on and left me $5000? "
“那你还记得在这之前的一个月她的哥哥去世了，留给了我5000美元吗？”
"Uh huh" said Brian again.
“嗯嗯”Brian又说。
"Well this month is almost over," said the coworker with a wave of his hand "and………………..NOTHING!"
“可是这个月都快完了，”这个同事一边说着一边摆了摆手，“我却什么都没有！！”
