For about three hours, a Hunan Province man was rolling in yuan after a bank error made him an instant billionaire.
近日一家银行误将12亿转账到了湖南一名男子账户里，在之后约三小时里，这名“亿万富翁”淹没在了滚滚而来的小钱钱里。
The Changsha man, surnamed Liu, said he was stunned when his bank informed him that 1.2 billion yuan ($176.7 million) had been accidentally deposited into his account, Beijing Youth Daily reported Tuesday.
据《北京青年报》报道，该男子姓刘，来自长沙，表示称当他收到银行通知说12亿人民币（约合1.767亿美元）已经存到他账上的时候，他惊呆了。
Liu had just opened the account at a Rural Commercial Bank branch in Wangcheng district at 3 pm Sunday when he received the call about 90 minutes later.
周日下午3点，刘姓男子刚刚在望城区一家农村商业银行开设了账户，大约90分钟后他就接到了电话。
An officer at the bank explained that a newly-hired clerk had miscalculated his savings deposit.
一名办事人员解释说，新雇佣的银行职员算错了他的存款金额。
Liu returned to the bank at 6 pm to help with the transfer. The bank gave him 200 yuan and a pack of cigarettes for his troubles.
下午6点，刘姓男子回到银行帮助转账完成。作为回报银行给了他200元红包和一包烟。
"It was probably the only time in my life that I’ll get to be a billionaire," said Liu.
刘姓男子说道：“这可能是我人生中唯一一次成为亿万富翁。”
