1. sometime 某一个时候，某一个特定的时间／sometimes偶尔，有时
e.g.
We should get together sometime. / We should get together sometime next week.
我们该找个时间，或者我们下个礼拜该找个时间聚聚。
Sometimes I like to go to the library to read.
有时候我喜欢去图书馆看看书。
2. beside 在旁边／besides除了…，并且
e.g.
Someone is beside you, but I'm the only one who can see him.
有个人在你旁边，但是只有我看得到他。
That's beside the point. 那不重要。
I can't talk to you right now. I'm tired. Besides, I'm studying English.
我现在不能和你说话，我很累。而且，我还在念英文呢！
Besides studying English, what else do you like to do?
除了学英文，你还喜欢做什么呢？
3. leave v. 离开，留下某人 n. 假期，放假
e.g.
Please don't leave until you finish reading this article.
读完这篇文章之前不能离开。
Don't leave me here alone !
别让我一个人待在这。
I wish I were on leave right now.
我真希望自己现在在放假。
leaves
a. third person singular 动词“离开”的三单形式
b. plural form of leave or leaf 名词“叶子leaf”或者“假期leave”的复数形式
4. mean v. 意思是，意味着 adj. 吝啬的，刻薄的 n. 平均数
