Reading
The other day we went to a party at our friend’s house. Before the party we had to go to another appointment so we showed up a little late. We ate dinner together. Then we sat and talked for a while. I had not met many of the people there. I am a shy person and very quiet. Sometimes it is hard to get the courage to ask people questions to get to know them. But as I try, it is getting easier to talk to people. I found in talking to them that we each have similar experiences. I learned that some of us had similar hobbies. Afterwards, we shared our addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses so we could contact each other again sometime. I was impressed with the personality and character of them all. Throughout my life I have met many different people. We all look different, but we are all human beings.
