Today I met a yellow elephant, walking through the park, His trunk was red, his ears were green, He’s the funniest elephant I’ve ever seen, He was all dressed up in pink pajamas And a hat with a pale blue brim The kids all cheered when he appeared And this is what they sang to him Hello elephant, yellow elephant, how are you today? The children loved that yellow elephant, More than they can say, They loved the way he waved his ears, He’s the funniest elephant they seen for years. When he dips his trunk in the bucket of water, And drinks it till it’s dry, The kids all shout, You better watch out Oh he’ll squirt you right in the eye.
