今天我们来学习两个单词 wash 和 glasses
“You told me to wash all of the glasses.”
Wash is a verb. That means it is an action word, or something that you do. When you wash something, you get it clean by using water, and usually soap too. What are some things we can wash? We can wash our clothes. We wash our hands. We also wash our dishes.
The word glasses has two means, and that is why in the book, Amelia Bedelia got confused. One type of glasses are the glasses you wear. They go in front of your eyes to help you see. Do you wear glasses?
The other type of glasses are the glasses your drink from. These are sometimes called cups. Mr. Rogers wanted Amelia Bedelia to clean all the glasses you drink from, but she got confused, and she cleaned the glasses that he wears too!
