今日话题--老外，你砸那么抠门呀！
Why are you so cheap？
买单一般表达：
Can I check the bill？
Can I get the bill/check？
老外一般是不会买单的，而且他们了解中国文化，很多可能还会这么说：
If you are insistent on paying the bill，I will not fight with you for it；
如果你坚持买单，我不会跟你抢的；
其实他不知道，也许我们也可能是客气一下啦；
Whatever，Nobody wants to pay the bill all the time，right？
老外很小气的啦，老外一起聚会吃饭，都是AA制，各付各的：
1.Let's split the bill/check；（split有撕裂；割裂的意思）--大家分摊付账；
还有一个古老的用法，Let's go dunch（很古老了，现在不用啦），其实有个典故的，我的搭档Iris跟大家分享过一期节目啦，小伙伴们可以再去回忆一下哈；
2.Let's separate the checks；
跟let's split the bill有区别，他是各人各付自己点的账单啦；
当啦啦，如果两个人吃饭，那我们就会这么表达啦：
Let's go half and half；
Let both of us pay for half of the bill；
我们一人一半；
老外情况买单情况一般发生在：
1.跟女朋友约会，而且应该也是前几次而已：
The man will pay for the first several of dates for his new girlfriend；
2.请人帮忙，咨询意见和看法啦，这个跟我们差不多思路啦：
The Americans will pay for the bill when they are asking for some help，advice or favor；
当然啦，老外异性朋友一起吃饭，一般男生也不会pay the bill的，他会选择大家一起：split the bill！
Okay，总结一下啦，其实老外出去吃饭都是各付各的，因为在他们看来，他们觉得这样对大家都很公平，而且老外也不会觉得是丢面子问题，跟人品也是毛线关系啦；
Americans prefer to split the bill because they think it makes things more simple，equal and fairer；It is none of any association with your personality！
但是在中国就完全不一样啦：
But In China，Paying the bill is associated with your personality，it reflects that whether you are trustworthy，generous and dependable！
所以我们都喜欢请客啦，因为它关系到品格问题撒，那么请客我们就可以这么来地道表达啦；
Trustworthy；：可信任的；
generous；大方的；
Dependable：靠谱的；
老外请吃饭买单，这次我请客，一般表达就会这么说：
1.It is my treat this time；
treat对待；请客的意思啦；
2.It is on me this time；
这次轮到我啦；
3.I will get it；
我来买单；
当然啦，形容某人很小气，那我们就可以这么来表达啦：He is so cheap；Cheap除了便宜；还有指某人小气；
也可以用：He is so miserly；Miserly：小气；
还有一些不常用的：
Cheapskate：frugal；stingly；
当然形容某个人抠的实在离谱，我们就可以这么表达啦
What a class act！太极品啦！
