Everyone has their favorite character from fiction， and Elizabeth is mine. She is so amusing and has such a sharp mind， while at the same time being kind and loving and extremely sensible. All Jane Austen's characters are completely believable. I can't read the scenes with Mrs Bennet without laughing. She is such a silly, superficial person and her husband gets so annoyed with her.
Jane Austen is rightly famous for her style. Her sentences have a wonderful rhythm, and she makes such clever, true comments about people. Pride and prejudice is a very wise book, told in a very amusing way. No wonder it has lasted.
