Snow 雪 ​初雪飘临。 它是多么的美啊!它整日整夜静静地飘着， 落在高山上，落在草地上，落在世人屋顶，落在死者的坟墓上! 到处都是一片白茫茫，只有河流在画面上划出一道曲曲弯弯的黑线；还有叶儿落净的的树木，映衬着银灰色的天空，此刻更显得枝杈交错，姿态万千。 初雪飘落时，一切是何等的安静，何等的幽静!一切声响都趋于沉寂，一切噪音都化作柔和、音乐般的声响。 再也听不到马蹄声响，再也听不到车轮嘎嘎的声响!只有雪橇的铃铛奏出和谐的乐声，那快速、欢快的节拍宛如儿童们的心房的跳动。 (亨利·华兹华斯·朗费罗 《卡瓦纳》) ​The first snow came. How beautiful it was, falling so silently, all day long, all night long, on the mountains, on the meadows, on the roofs of the living, on the graves of the dead! What silence, too, came with the snow, and what seclusion! Every sound was muffled, every noise changed to something soft and musical. No more tramping hoofs, no more rattling wheels!
