John is eight and he walks to school and then back home everyday. He is always on time, but today he is late coming home.
“Why are you late today?” his mother asked him.
“I was in my teacher’s office.” John answered.
“Why were you in the teacher’s office?” said his mother.
“Because my teacher asked a question and nobody could answer it, but I could.” said John.
“It’s good to answer the teacher’s question. ”John’s mother said.
“But what was the question?”
“The question was, who put ink on my chair?” John answered.
