Sky seemed to be splashed by a thick ink
Clouds changed freely their colours
Mountains and rivers full of deep feeling
Welcomed and sent off the travellers
The moonlight, quaint and wonderful, became thinner
After a soft rain, I stood on the tall building
Only found out the joys of others
The autumn wind was rustling
While I thought of the charming face of my lover
On Lake Erhai were reflected the heavenly palaces
It was the best time in the winding pavilion for leisure
I waited here and wanted to meet her once more
Until the people drifted off into their dreams
But only lights were glittering in the distance
