Murray Gold_ Amy's Theme (from Doctor Who - arrangement for 2 pianos)

An arrangement of "Amy's Theme" for two pianos - as composed by Murray Gold and orchestrated by Ben Foster. This is mostly based on the Proms 2010 version, which includes parts of the variation heard at the end of "The Pandorica Opens" (I won't give the title of that one, because it's a spoiler, and I know at least two people watching this, who haven't seen that episode yet ;-)). But there are also bits from the soundtrack - notably the additional piano melody at the beginning, and four extra bars of "Murray Gold goes Howard Shore" in the middle. The heart grew fonder of this theme over time. Rather complex in terms of multiple voices, it's also the one arrangement that has taken the longest to get to this just-passable-version. The voices are still not evenly balanced and there are a few bits I'd still like to incorporate somehow. And yeah, there are a few places where the hands overlap - the execution of those is left as a not-that-hard exercise for the player at the moment. ;-) Since some have wondered: No, these arrangements are mostly *not* played 100% by me (except for Rose's Theme and mostly Donna's Theme). A lot of the work is left to simple MIDI playback. Because I spend too much time writing them, I don't have enough time to learn them properly. So, some parts are me, other parts are played by a computer. This one is probably 50/50.
