Originally the first Doctor Who theme I attempted to arrange - for single piano - after getting tired of trying to deduce the orchestral score. Turned out OK, I guess, but I was never quite happy with it. Which is what prompted me to look into two piano arrangements. Recently, I figured it was time to give it another shot . So, an arrangement of "All the Strange, Strange Creatures" for two pianos - as composed by Murray Gold and orchestrated by Ben Foster. Mostly based on the CD version, it also has bits of the Proms 2008 version. As for the arrangement itself... An act of piano brutality. A powerhouse. Not for the sensitive ear. The arrangement and playing could be more subtle to say the least, but where's the fun in that? (I actually did tone it down a bit).
