介绍:
The ousted chairman of India's Tata Group has criticized his departure from the group. In an email to the board seen by the BBC, Cyrus Mistry says he become a "lame duck" chairman and alleges constant interference. Tata hasn't made any comment. The world's biggest carmaker Toyota is recalling another 5.8 million cars worldwide for potentially faulty airbags made by supplier Takata. The models include the Corolla and the Yaris subcompact models, most of them sold in Japan, China and Europe. The world's biggest aircraft maker Boeing has seen a rise in profits. Net income was up almost 34% at 2.3 billion dollars. That was boosted by strong commercial plane deliveries and one of tax benefits. Europe's largest aerospace group Airbus has posted a 21% fall in quarterly operating profits. In September the firm indicated that it was embarking on a cost-cutting and restructuring plan. And those are the business headlines on BBC World News.
