1. Objective:
- To teach how to use modal verb” can”.
学习如何使用情态动词 can。
- To practice modal verb “can” using simple questions. 使用一般疑问句练习 can 的用法
- To be able to make a request and tell one’s abilities. 能够作出请求以及说出自己的能力。
2. ABILITY 表示能力
to be able to do something or to know how to do something:
You can swim, right?
Katie can speak English fluently. Can you fix my computer?
3. REQUESTING 表示请求
Used to ask someone to do something or give you something:
Can you do me a favor? 你能不能帮我一个忙? Can you tell me your phone number?
4. Conversation
A:Katie, Can you do me a favor?
B: Sure, what is it?
A: Can you fix computer? It’s broken.
B: I can try. Can you show me your computer? A: You are so nice.
5. Phrases/ sentences: 你会不会。。。 Can you cook? 做饭
Can you drive a car? 开车
Can you speak English? 说英文 CanyouspeakChinese? 说中文 Canyouopenthedoor? 开门 Canyouclosethewindow? 关闭窗口 Can you turn on the TV? 打开电视
