"Clean up"
Can we say, "Clean up your laptop"?
If we ever did say "clean up your laptop" it would mean to wash the laptop.
But it&`&s not a common sentence.
So "clean up the mess" ..
How about 2? Hang up ....
You could also "hang up the phone"
"She hung up on me!"
Is a pretty common sentence
pick up and put away are a bit simliar
Put away the books ...
Put away the books, put away the boxes
Put away your toys, put away your papers
Put away the pots and pans.
How about Number 5... Take out?
So "take out" means to remove something from the house
Nope!
No difference
Take out the recycling.
