A: My mother loves to ask me questions about my life.
B: Who cares? That's what mothers do.
Another really good one is "How should I know?"
We use this when someone asks us a ridiculous question that we have no idea about.
A: Did Bob and Diana love each other when they got married?
B: How should I know?!
When you want to disagree with someone's opinion, you can use "well"
A: I hate that TV show!
B: Well, I love it..
"My mother loves to go on about her hobbies."
"My father loves to go on about his business."
"He's living in a dream world!"
A: My best friend thinks he can make a million dollars next year.
B: He's living in a dream world!
We can also replace"they" with a group of people, or a single person.
"Teenagers spend all their time talking on the phone."
"My mother spends all her time cooking good food."
Can you think of someone else who spends all their time doing something?
We use this when someone asks us a ridiculous question that we have no idea about.
"My colleagues are spending all their time on this project."
