变成初雪下的一片枯叶，

融化进一片春泥，

Is the last leaf on the twig bare.
So attached are you to lady Spring fair
or do you dread to end up in Winter's harsh care?
Hunting the Autumn nights is a nightmare;
To which world or graveyard it‘ll drift with a glare
Remains a mystery queer.
How terrified you must be to fall in Hell
That you put up such a fight against Fate's call.
But you will hold no longer upon the first snowfall.
A dead leaf facing up to plum blossoms red and small
That adorn the snow prideful,
You will dissipate deep into the soil
To nourish the next round of exuberant life for all!
