R: Hey guys, here comes today’s chat, I’m Roger.
E: And I’m Elaine. How time flies recently! We are getting to the mid term.
R: Yeah, to be honest, i’m getting indeed tired these days, you know me, too much homework and tasks are there waiting for me. I even don’t have time to have a good rest.
E: Oh…these days, I feel the same as you…The Spring is coming and the weather is getting warmer but it seems that annoying things are on the way too.
R: Next week I’ll take the mid term exam of our department …I’m not sure whether I’m well prepared for it. And at the same time, I have to finish the task of completing an important presentation, that makes me stressful.
E: Ah…the mid term exam, don’t mention it, we’ll take that after the May Day holiday. But tell the truth. I prefer taking it before the short vacation.
Because that means I have to prepare for it instead of having a good relax. But take it easy, I believe that we all can get satisfying results if we work hard before it.
R: Yeah, anyway we should stay positive to all the annoying things ahead of us. You know, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. We should face the difficulties instead of complaining all the right. So let’s expect the best result and always stay positive to life.
E: And the Strawberry Music Festival is going to take place in different places! Have you ever been to a music festival?
R: No, I haven’t. Since I’m not a fan of Chinese Rock Music. Seldom did I know about them. So I didn’t pay much attention.
E: Ah I get your point. And for me, I don’t understand most of the rock bands. So I haven’t ever been to any music festivals. But by the way…Did you see the performing list of Xi’an?
R: Yeah I saw that. Actually i’m a little bit disappointed. But Chen Li will perform on the first day and she is a singer that I quite admire. Sometimes I listen to some folk music for relaxation. Her voice is distinct and I love that.Maybe it worth a ticket.
E: Yeah, and since you mentioned Chenli, there is another singer quite unique I want to recommend to you, Dou JIngtong, I’m sure you know her. And she published her new album recently and indeed received a great reputation for her natural talent in music. She is so cool, I’m a little addicted to her song these days.
R: I absolutely knew this girl, I have been focusing her for a long time since she published her first single “With You”. I was thinking ,wow she is WangFei’s daughter, I can’t believe it. Under the halo of his mother, I used to consider her as a highly-anticipated girl, no wonder she inherited the amazing genes by her parents.But you may not say so now, for she’s not just the daughter of someone famous but a singer who are really talented.
E:Yeah, we hope the media can focus more on his singing career, not her personal life. One of my friends once saw the live show of her, she said it was totally wonderful.
R: Yeah I do wish I could also go to the concert to see the live show of my favorite band
E:Yeah I quite understand that kind of feeling. I’ve been to several concerts of Bigbang. Their live show is beyond amazing. You can never imagine how great it is that everyone in the concert singing together their signature songs.
R: Although I never went to a real concert, I still can imagine the picture you said. If I were there, I could probably burst out crying for seeing my beloved singers. I think I’ve told you for a million times that I had a special affection for ColdPlay. They mean the whole world to me. It would be a dream to see the real four men.especially Chris Martin.
E:Trust me, there definitely will be a chance for you to meet them. Maybe you could work overseas, seeing them in Britain and America.
