Mother of Donkeys
Once there lived a granny. She had two donkeys. Every morning she went with them down the street to the fields.
One morning two young men wanted to tease her and shouted.
＂Good morning, mother of donkeys!"
＂Good morning, my sons," the granny answered and smiled at them.
The young men heard this and felt ashamed.
＂We shouldn’t insult ourselves. We'd better
leave," they said, running away.
The granny was happy to see the dejected looking young men.
The granny fought back with wisdom.
