Two goats
There were two goats that wanted to go over the river.Over the river there was a very narrow bridge.
‘’Go back,‘’said one goat to the other,‘’There is no room for both of us as it is too narrow.‘’
‘’Why should I go back instead of you?‘’said the other goat.
‘’You must go back,‘’said the first goat and he put down his horns to threaten the other.
‘’Stop!‘’said the second goat after a second.‘’If we fight,we shall both fall into the river and drown.Instead,I shall lie down and you may walk over me.We shall both go over safely.‘’
The first goat thought he was right and did as he said.
‘’You see,we have passed it safely,‘’the other goat turned and said.
The first goat felt sorry and said,‘’I was too reckless.Thank you.‘’
