I have a cat,
我有一只猫，
Its name is Tit;
它的名字叫提特；
And by the fire
壁炉火堆旁
It loves to sit.
它喜欢趴着。
From off the rug
地毯上
It scarce will stir,
它很少四处走动，
But there will sit
但有时它会趴在那
All day and purr.
一天到晚喵喵叫个不停。
Each day I bring

Its dish of milk,

And smooth its coat

To shine like silk.

And on my knee
