The very hungry caterpillar
好饿的毛毛虫

In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on the leaf.
月光下，一颗小小的蛋躺在叶子上。
One Sunday morning, the warm sun came up,
星期天早上，暖和的太阳升起来了，
and –pop!- out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
“啵”一声，一条又小又饿的毛毛虫，从蛋里爬了出来。
He started to look for some food.
它要去找一些东西来吃。
On Monday ,he ate through one apple，but he was still hungry.
星期一，它吃了一个苹果，可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Tuesday, he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.
星期二，他吃了两个梨，可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Wednesday, he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.
星期三，他吃了三个李子，可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Thursday, He ate through four strawberries, but he was still hungry.
星期四，他吃了四个草莓，可是，肚子还是好饿。
On Friday, he ate through five oranges, but he was still hungry.
星期五，他吃了五个橘子，可是肚子还是好饿。
On Saturday, he ate through one piece of chocolate cake, one ice cream cone, one pickle,
星期六，他吃了一块巧克力蛋糕、一个冰激凌甜筒、一条腌黄瓜、
One slice of Swiss cheese, one slice of salami, one lollipop,
一块奶酪、一截火腿、一根棒棒糖、
One piece of cherry pie, one sausage, one cup cake, and one slice of watermelon.
一块樱桃派、一条香肠、一个纸杯蛋糕和一片西瓜。
That night he had a stomachache!
那天晚上，毛毛虫的肚子好痛！
the next day was Sunday again the caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf,
第二天又是星期天了，毛毛虫吃了一片又嫩又绿的叶子，
And after that he felt much better.
觉得舒服多了。
Now he wasn’t hungry anymore, and he wasn’t a little caterpillar any more.
现在毛毛虫不觉得肚子饿了，它不再是一条小毛毛虫了。
He was a big and fat caterpillar.
它是一条又肥又大的毛毛虫。
He built a small house called cocoon around himself.
它造了一间小房子，叫做“茧”。
He stayed inside for more than two weeks,
它在里头住了两个多星期，
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out
然后，把茧咬破一个洞，钻了出来
And he was a beautiful butterfly！
哇！毛毛虫变成了一只漂亮的蝴蝶。
