Prior to joining ABC News, he was a senior political adviser to the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton and later became Clinton's communications director. He is married to actress Alexandra Wentworth, with whom he has two daughters/George Stephanopoulos: Friends

He resembles a woolly(adj.羊毛的) mammoth, without tusks(n.长牙) or (visible) ears, and he is a friend of Big Bird. He attends Snufflegarten and has a baby sister named Alice/这里Rachel是一时口误,竟然把政治人物George Stephanopoulos念成Georege snuffleupagus。
