This is a pyramid diagram depicting Maslow’s “Hierarchy of Needs”. The base of the pyramid represents our physiological needs which include health, food, sleep and sex. The upper part of the pyramid is divided into different categories of psychological need. The most basic requirement is safety, in the form of shelter and removal from danger. This is followed by belonging, affection and being part of a group. Once these needs are satisfied, people will desire self-esteem and finally, self-actualisation which comes from achieving one’s full potential. I think this picture is very educational and informative
