The bar chart shows the proportion of UK citizens in different age groups from 1911 to 2011. The items here include age 0 to 14, age 15 to 64 and age 65 and over. In terms of age 65 or more, the figure started at 5% and then increased to 10%, before remaining stable over the rest of the period. In terms of age 0 to 14, the figure started at 30% and then decreased to 20%, before remaining stable over the rest of the period. Overall, it is clear that ageing population has become a matter of concern, and governments need to do something in order to address this issue.
